General Information
Manuscripts must be submitted online by 21 December 2009. Manuscripts must include your email, address, telephone and fax numbers.

Form and Style
Four page manuscripts should be submitted online as per the instructions below.

THE FIRST LINE OF THE MANUSCRIPT SHOULD PRESENT THE TITLE OF THE PAPER
The second line should contain the name of author(s), with first and middle initial.
The third line should contain the name of the department and institution in which the work was done.

References:
References should be numbered consecutively as they appear in the text and names of up to three authors are requested after which "et al" is preferred.

Sample arrangement:
Article: Miller, RA, OH Smith: Lymphocyte function. New Engl. J. Med. 253 (1965), 72.
Book: Allen, EV, NW Barker, EW Hines: Peripheral Vascular Disease. Saunders, Philadelphia, 1955.

Footnotes:
Footnotes should be avoided. Please group footnotes together at the end of your manuscript before the reference section or incorporate the information in the text material itself.

Abbreviations:
Standard abbreviations should be used consistently. Unusual or coined abbreviations should be spelled out the first time in the text with the abbreviation following in parenthesis.

Tables and Illustrations
Tables and illustrations should be embedded throughout the text, preferably being included on the same page where they are first discussed. They should have a self-contained caption.

Tables:
Tables should be included in the text and numbered with Arabic (not Roman) numerals. A brief title should follow the table number. All unusual units of measurement, acronyms and abbreviations should be explained in a legend at the bottom of the table.

Photographs/line drawings:
Responsibility for obtaining prior permission in writing for reproduction of illustrations, or any other material, taken from published works is assumed by the author. A copy of the permission should accompany your manuscript. Black and white images (photographs, line drawings, graphs etc.) should be embedded in the text, preferable on the same page where they are first discussed.


STEPS TO UPLOAD YOUR FINAL PAPER

  1. When you’re ready to upload your manuscript click on Upload Paper. You will be asked to enter your Access Key and once you have done so, press continue.
  2. Welcome to the Speakers Zone. All the abstracts you have submitted will be displayed.
  3. Upload your manuscript. Click Browse and select your file.
  4. Click on Upload Final Paper.
  5. If your upload is successful, your message will read: Thank You Your File Has Been Saved.
