Clothing: What to bring
Casual, tropical attire is usually the order of the day here, with comfort a key option. A light jacket for evenings is recommended.

Temperatures
For most of the year the climate in Cairns is simply perfect: blue skies, warm weather and gentle breezes but there are only two seasons - the wet and the dry. The dry season runs from June to October with rainfall averaging approximately 35 mm. The average daily minimum temperature is 18.6°C and the maximum is 27.9°C in September.

Taxis
Taxi ranks are located near both the International and Domestic Terminals. Black & White Taxi ranks are located immediately outside the International and Domestic Terminals.
The taxi fare to Cairns CBD ranges from $15 - $20 depending on destination point.

Coach Services
Australia Coach/Sun Palm Express operate airport shuttle bus services to hotels and the city centre. Pick up point is immediately in front of the arrivals area at both terminals and there is an information desk within the terminal, which if not staffed, has direct-dial telephone.

No pre-booking is required. For timetables and online bookings visit www.australiacoach.com or phone +61 7 4087 2900.

Check In/Check Out Times
